Today all the girls went to the beauty parlor! (this was after we worked all morning painting at the San Lorenzo church and before we went out in the evening to appointments and cell groups!). This is the beauty parlor that Brenda goes to and has written about in her blog.
She gets her hair cut at another place and I got to go with Brenda there yesterday and got my hair cut too. However, this is what you get when you go for a haircut---washed twice, conditioned, head massage (oh yeahhhh), then the cut (she was very good!), then washed again, then blow dry---all that for only 60,000 PYU---about $15 US!!!
Brenda tells us that US products are now the cheapest in the market due to the falling dollar, but some things are still quite the bargain compared to home!
I'd have a picture to go with this, but our photographer that knows how to put up pictures (which, big surprise, is not me!), is Joe and he, naturally, was not at the beauty parlor!

Now you are talking my language, the pedis/manis and head massage, LOVE IT! You guys deserve some pampering=) Can't wait to see the new hair! I don't know about the time change but you may have already done the tea? If you have know we prayed/praying for you, hope it all went WELL! We MISS, MISS, MISS you! Not much to tell about here, same old crazy KIDS, went to a kids muesum today in Palo Alto with MOPS friends, good times! love you
