It's time!!!

Well, in a few hours we'll be waking up and heading to the airport for our 20 hour journey to Paraguay by way of Miami and Sao Paulo, Brazil. We were blessed with great exit row seats for all our American Airlines legs - the benefit of the 50,000 miles I've flown on American in the past 18 months, but we still have unknown seat assignments for the TAM flights to and from Paraguay, but those are only two hour flights.

Monday we had a packing session to distribute the ~60 lbs of goods we'll be bringing down for the Bostons - everything from vitamins and baking chocolate, to tea and hygiene products.

After our pre-pack, we were still smiling. We'll see how much the luggage has grown by check-in time tomorrow morning. It's time to leave all our troubles behind - the bay area heat wave, the lingering smoke from all the fires burning in the state, suitcases that just won't close - and trust in what the Lord has in store for us over the next two weeks.

Glad to hear that you survived the 1st leg! Did anyone take pictures of you sitting around Miami airport?
