Well, over 24 hours since we all left home, we're on board the last flight - TAM 713 to Paraguay. We drew straws to see who my guests were in the Crown Room - Domi and Jenn got the draw, but Domi passed it on to Fran. The three of us had some pretty good vending machine expresso (Cafe con leiche - coffee with milk), and some fresh papaya. Patience has been the word, with nearly an hour wait at the transfer point for boarding passes, and the bus to the plane boarding no where near the 8:30 boarding time. Alas, nearly done, we should be meeting Bob and Brenda in a bit over 2 hours. PS - the big headline on CNN in Brazil was the fire burning near my parant's house in Paradise, and California air quality.
