As we pulled away from the gate, the sun was a brilliant red from all the wildfire smoke in the sky. Visibility was so low that the east bay hills were invisible. I shot some pictures of San Francisco as we flew over, but the haze washed them out. It will be nice to have a couple weeks of better air quality.
